Ian Moore
Ian Moore explores fasting as a biblical discipline that goes beyond just abstaining from food — it is humbling ourselves before God to deepen prayer, seek His presence, and grow spiritually. Fasting creates space to rely on God’s grace and strengthen both personal devotion and spiritual resilience.

Mark Smith (Visiting Speaker)
Mark Smith highlights that Christians are called to always be ready to share the hope they have in Christ. Instead of depending on having all the right answers, we should walk alongside others, helping remove barriers to faith while trusting God to reveal Himself and bring about true belief.

Rev Stephen Henwood (visiting Speaker)
In “Remember Jesus Christ,” Rev Stephen Henwood reflects on 2Timothy 2:8, urging believers to keep Jesus at the centre of their lives. In a world marked by political uncertainty and conflict, including the war in Ukraine, he calls the church to prayer, boldness, and joy. Just as Paul remained faithful in suffering, Christians today are encouraged to remember the risen and present Christ in every circumstance.

Revd [Flt Lt] Tim Williamson - Station Chaplain at RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire
In 'Space, the First Frontier', Tim Williamson challenges us to make intentional space for God in the busyness of everyday life. Drawing on Genesis and the biblical pattern of “structure before flow,” he shows how God first creates space and order before pouring out his presence, power, and creativity. Tim encourages us to create room for God so that His presence can truly shape their lives, deepen their faith, and overflow into our community.

Jane Wyndham
Jane Wyndham’s Advent sermon contrasts Isaiah’s vision of God’s peaceful kingdom with Jesus’ call to stay watchful, urging us to resist snap judgements based on what we can’t truly see. By leaving judgement to God and embracing compassion, we make space for hope and peace as we enter this season of waiting for Christ’s coming.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the Church (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 10.30 am.  There is ample parking to the rear of the building.

When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10.30am with a warm welcome from one of our team members. Then follows a time of sung worship, led by our band.  We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then finish with a final worship song. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

Serving and Volunteering

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team.
